The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The company position developed for intervention experiences a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
